Lost Songs

I recently found some poetry that I wrote when I was in high school. It was something of a shock to read something like that and realize that it's not just embarrassing to me now, although those days are far behind me. I wondered then what I would be now, and I did not guess the answer. Of course, I've learned a lot, but somehow, I should have known, even then.
